The Toala pre-Columbian collection provides a snapshot on the nature of the pre-Columbian cultures from Ecuador, Northern Peru, and Southern Colombia. This unique online resource was developed by Diana Tinta, a UVA ex-alumni. She graduated in 2020, and through this Story Map she narrates the story of her family as they migrated into the United States from Ecuador. Make sure to visit this resource in order to learn about the cultural developments in the ancient Andes.
